Where to Stay in Ohio

If you’re looking to have some fun in Ohio and want a taste of its wonderful cities, then Cincinnati and Cleveland are your best options outside of Columbus. With these two mammoth cities, you’re going to need some help finding the right room. Cincinnati and Cleveland are two overwhelming cities, but this guide has you covered. After reading this guide, you’ll know just where to stay in Cincinnati and Cleveland, Ohio.

21c Museum Hotel Cincinnati

You won’t want to leave 21c Museum Hotel after seeing its beautiful rooms and assortment of amenities, including the fitness center and separate business center, both of which are open 24 hours a day. You’ll be staying right next to Cincinnati’s Contemporary Arts Museum and not far from the Great American Ballpark and Paul Brown Stadium. 21c Museum Hotel will keep you comfortable and close to the action.

Cincinnatian Hotel

Stay in the Cincinnatian Hotel and you’ll not only be in one of the city’s best areas, but inside a truly historic building that dates back to the 19th century. It’s surrounded by excellent restaurants and is close to Cincinnati’s biggest attractions. Designers built The Cincinnatian with over 10 types of rooms, so whether you are visiting Cincinnati for business or for pleasure, there’s the perfect room for you.

Millennium Hotel Cincinnati

Stay at Millennium Hotel Cincinnati and you won’t find a better deal for a downtown room. The hotel’s wonderful staff will help with any questions about the city and might even give you tips about its lesser-known parts. Enjoy a meal at the hotel restaurant at any time of the day, or have a drink at the fully stocked bar open until late at night. Book in advance and ask for a higher floor for excellent views of the city at an affordable price.

The Glidden House (Cleveland)

One of Cleveland’s best hotels is The Glidden House, located right near the city’s Botanical Gardens. Built in 1910, this mansion has since transformed into Cleveland’s nicest boutique hotel. Expect your stay to feel like a visit to a friend’s house instead of a night at a hotel. Ask for a room with a view of the parks and you might forget that a big city is outside.

University Hotel & Suites (Cleveland)

Budget and long-term visitors to the downtown and Cleveland State area will love University Hotel & Suites for its friendly staff, and it is only a short drive from many attractions. You can easily book a room for a price that is cheaper than everywhere else in the downtown area, so if you are staying in Cleveland for a while, University Hotel & Suites is your best bet for a comfortable stay.

This list should take care of your worries about booking a hotel in Ohio’s two biggest cities outside of Columbus. Now that you’ve got these five wonderful hotels to choose from, are you ready to book a flight to Cincinnati or Cleveland? If you’ve got something to add about any of these hotels, I’d love to hear about it! Enjoy your stay in two of the Buckeye State’s best cities.
