Traveling through the heart of America, it’s easy to get overwhelmed. Why? Because there’s just so much to see and do in Middle America. Just take a look at these places that include three wonderful spots in Wisconsin, one in Michigan, and another all the way down in Oklahoma. Officially known as “the Waterpark Capital of the World,” Wisconsin Dells has a lot more to offer away from the thrills and rides. Stay at Deer Trail Motel for the best mix of price and comfort, before heading out to the Rick Wilcox Magic Theater that headlines a great lineup of indoor entertainment for everyone. Get outside and enjoy the Riverwalk for a beautiful view of the Wisconsin River. That’s just scratching the surface of Wisconsin Dells, don’t you think?

Head to Lake Michigan’s western shore and witness Milwaukee (aka Brew City) in person. Drop your bags and relax at Ambassador Hotel – Milwaukee before spending time at Milwaukee Art Museum for a view of the lake and an exquisite collection of sculptures and architecture for all to see. Grab a beer or two at Miller Park while watching the Brewers and don’t forget about the city’s history. Explore that at Pabst Mansion or the Historic Third Ward and learn about this wonderful city’s origins.

Lake Geneva, Wisconsin

Near the Illinois border, Lake Geneva is known as a resort city for those escaping the cities from all around. Hike the Geneva Lake Shore Path and admire the beautiful watery views mixed with gorgeous houses along the way. Spend a night at the Studio Winery and enjoy their “Paint Night” as well as a diverse choice of wines. A hotel like Chateau Royale Inn would be the perfect choice for any traveler looking to save some money while staying in Lake Geneva. What’s your take?

Lansing, Michigan

Visit Lansing and stay at the Radisson Hotel for a truly central location. The Michigan State Capitol offers a truly beautiful building to walk through, and you just might even walk past the Governor or another important politician while touring. Visit Old Town for an up and coming neighborhood that has lots of things to do throughout the year. Stop by Potter Park Zoo for constantly updated exhibits and fun for all ages.

Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Oklahoma City is a grand stop and Wyndham Garden is a perfect hotel for those passing through or staying for a while. Visit the city’s numerous museums including the Oklahoma City National Memorial. Myriad Botanical Gardens is a great chance to look at exotic flowers and plants from all over the world. Hefner Lake and Park is a wonderful way to get outdoors and see some of the beauty that Oklahoma has to offer.

With all these options thrown out at you, which one was the most appealing? It’s okay if you want to visit them all because that’s what most people say after reading about these exciting Midwest cities.
